How to Download Movies Free of Charge

If you learn how to download movies free of charge you will have a source of entertainment for ever that will cost you nothing other than a relatively small lifetime membership fee.

That is normally no more than $30 - $40, and for that you get a service worth many, many times that sum. However, you should use the software within the law, and resist the temptation to download copyrighted material.

Those that ignore that advice will be liable to prosecution, although to be frank, there is little incentive not to do that. Very few are prosecuted for doing so, and you have more chance of being killed by a falling coconut than being prosecuted when they download movies free of charge illegally: what they call bootleg movies.

In order to do so you first register with the P2p file sharing service of your choice, such as that here:

Download Movies Free

and then pay what is asked for the membership .you can then download movies free of any further charge for the rest of your life. Your membership payment covers enhancements to the software that is based on the Gnutella open source project, and also support. The enhancements offer very much faster download speeds plus more streamlined file and directory management facilities than you get with the free software. I have tried both, and I personally use the paid versions by choice.

When you open the software, you will be able to save your downloaded movies, music and games (this offers all of them) into a directory of your choice - the one you chose will be the default, and everything you download in future will be automatically downloaded into that directory. You can use a folder on your hard drive, or do as most do and use an external USB drive, or even better, a hard disk caddy that can hold up to 80 GB plus. Handy if you don't want your downloads traced! I don't recommend that though because it is illegal.

When you go to the search area you get search boxes for title, artist, genre and so on. Enter what you want and a list of movies/music tracks/games will appear. Click on one and it will start to download. That's it - simple! At the end of the download, the file will be in the directory or drive of your choice, and you click on it to play it. If you want to burn the tracks to DVD, then the site offers you free burning software.

That is how to download movies free of charge, and how it works is that the P2P file sharing software connects your computer with that of everybody else logged on to the network that has the movie you want stored on their hard disk. It searches for the files meeting your search terms and lists all of those that do, together with a note of how many other sources can offer it. The more computers connected to the network that have the movie you want, the quicker the download will be. Each of these sends packets of data to your software reassembles them into the original movie file.

It is possible for the movie and music companies to prevent you from doing this with copyright protected files, but they can't be bothered to do so. What should happen is that the movie and music moguls should spend some of their massive profits on not permitting their files to be copied in this way , rather than spending their profits on obscene payments to their stars. I feel no sympathy for them, or for the prima donnas than bleat about their livelihood being threatened. Bollocks! In fact, if they bothered to find out about it, they actually make more money because kids have downloaded their stuff, liked what they saw, and went on to buy it to get more.

The ones they should be persecuting when they download movies free professionally are not the high school kids and their moms, but those that copy downloaded movies, repackage them and sell them as genuine when they are released on DVD. That so where the money is being lost, not from the kids trying to impress their mates with what they can do.

I think the movie and pop stars are compromising their own livelihood and image with the drugs they take and all the other illegal acts they get up to. In fact, they have a check making complaints high school kids and younger copying their movies or music when they are constantly breaking the law themselves. What is it with these guys - does the law not apply to them? If you or I did what they did we would be locked up! They would get more respect if they earned it through their actions, but they don't. And yes, I know I am generalizing - I am doing it deliberately because the rest don't speak up against the idiots among them.

However, that does not mean that I am condoning you breaking the law. On the contrary: you should not. What I am saying is that peer-to-peer file sharing software is not illegal, and it is not for me to do their job. I simply provide software - how you use it is not my responsibility. That has been underwritten by high court adjudications in Europe and the USA. The provider is not responsible for the users actions. I am the provider, and you are the user, so while I provide you with the means to break the law, I am not responsible if you download movies free ilegally. In the same way that the gun shop owner is not responsible for the hold-up using the gun he or she sold.

Here is a selection of software that you can use legally to download movies free of charge that are not protected by copyright, and also to download those that are. Don't break the law, but it's not my responsibility if you do (although I won't grass you up!).

Actually, this first one offers completely legal downloads only:

Movie Review

The first of the above is a video download site, that hold thousands of videos, each of which has been pre-approved to download, so there are no copyright problems.

The second is a review site. This was started before Clickbank decided to drop some products that offered illegal downloads. I think two of these have now been replaced by generic sites. I am leaving the link intact to let you see what is happening to this type of site now, but three at least should still be approved by Clickbank.

Does that mean that they are offering legal products? of course not, because all these sites are legal, and Clickbank's knee-jerk reaction is just to keep Google happy.

No doubt I will be next!!
